At REPÚBLICA Jungle & Caribbean Seafaris, we understand that unexpected situations can arise during your vacation. We want you to feel confident when booking your custom diving experiences with us, so we have established a clear and fair Refund and Cancellation Policy.

Here is a breakdown of our policy for online bookings:

• Cancellations:
  • More than 10 days before your arrival: You will receive a full refund.
  • Between 10 and 2 days before arrival: A 20% cancellation fee will be charged.
  • Within 48 hours of arrival: Unfortunately, cash refunds will not be given.
• Cancellations due to illness: If you become ill and are unable to participate in your diving, snorkeling or excursion due to a documented medical condition, we understand. Please provide a written statement from a local doctor. We will do our best to reschedule your activity free of charge. If rescheduling is not possible within the timeframe
• No-shows: Cancellations without prior notice or on the day of your reservation will not receive a refund or credit.

Weather:

• We may reschedule excursions due to poor weather, based on availability.
• All scheduled dives, snorkels and excursions will take place as planned unless otherwise directly informed by REPÚBLICA.

Cancellations by REPÚBLICA Jungle & Caribbean Seafaris:

• In the rare event that we need to cancel your booking for any reason, you will receive a full refund.

Important Notes:

• A local medical certificate is required for illness-related cancellations.
• Rainy or cloudy weather is not a valid reason for cancellation by the client. We follow the Harbor Master’s recommendations for tour cancellations to ensure your safety.
• A “no show” is treated the same as a late cancellation (no refund or credit).
• A 5% processing fee may apply to authorized refunds.
• Refunds will be issued to your original method of payment. Processing times vary by bank and country, and may take up to 45 days.
